Watching calm and cool Sally Yates burn Ted Cruz was an immensely satisfying experience but it was testimony by former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, that made me go "hmmmm" and scratch my head.
According to Clapper, Trump was briefed on Putin's campaign to influence the 2016 election on January 6th of 2017. But Trump's tweets of January 6th and 7th, after the briefing, have him looking for intelligence leaks, attacking the DNC for being hacked and pushing for a better relationship with Russia.
Another funny thing, eroding the faith and confidence of the American people in our presidential election process and demeaning Hillary Clinton were the same things Donald was doing.
"The intelligence community assessment concluded first that President Putin directed an influence campaign to erode the faith and confidence of the American people in our presidential election process.
"Second, that he did so to demean Secretary Clinton and third that he sought to advantage Mr Trump.
"These conclusions were reached based on the richness of the information gathered and analyzed and were thoroughly vetted and then approved by the directors of the three agencies. And me.
"These Russian activities and the result and assessment were briefed first to President Obama on the fifth of January and then to President Elect Trump at Trump Tower on the Sixth." -James Clapper Director of National Intelligence (2010–2017)
both countries will, perhaps, work together to solve some of the many great and pressing problems and issues of the WORLD!
Ha, Donald, Russia doesn't respect America any more than Americans respect you.
